What is Techfest Kosovo?

Techfest Kosovo and Kosovo is a coding contest for the developer community in Kosovo and Kosovo. It is a 4-hour coding competition where you compete to solve algorithmic problems and learn about important milestones of the coding history. The contest is organized by Engage Technology and ABA.

Who can participate?

We invite everybody to participate. You can participate as an individual or as a team, the ranking will list individual people. We also encourage students and yound coders to participate and we will support onsite.

How will does the ranking work and what about winners?

The winners of the online competition will be determined by the following logic:

• Everybody who is solving a challenge will gather points. In the last level you solve you get bonus points dependent on your speed.
• On 22.11.2024 at 14:00 (CET) we will publish a number of new levels to solve, whoever is able to get most points until 17:00 wins participates in the ranking
  • The onsite event in Pristina will be start at 13:00 (the competition starts at 14:00 (CET) as well)
  • the online event (all around) will start at 14:00 (CET)

How many people can win prizes?

We have a limited number of prizes for the winners to select.

What do I get when I win?

You can select a prize from the available prizes starting with the winner when you are on site.

We also have some food and drinks prepared for you when you are on site. The ranking is independet of your presence though.

Who is behind this coding contest?

This coding contest is organised by Engage Technology in cooperation with Austrian Business Agency.
